With Raheem Mostert out several weeks with a sprained MCL, and Tevin Coleman out even longer (they put him on IR), the 9'ers backfield is down to Jerrick McKinnon & our boy Jeff!

"The next man up is 24-year-old Jeff Wilson, who has two carries and three catches this season. He's had a bit role with the 49ers since 2018, but could actually get the most action this coming Sunday."

Looks like they plan to use Jeff as an early-down back and McKinnon as a 3rd down guy.

Here's the opportunity...   It's up to Jeff to seize it!

Great run for his 3rd TD but got his ankle rolled up on. Was grabbing it then popped up but teammates told him to stay down and wait for the trainers. Really hope he’s okay. Been an amazing coming out party. Over 100 yards and 3 scores

dude, as soon as i tune in, first carry he gets injured...

 

I was so fired up when i saw what was happening. I hope nothing is broken and he can get back on the field next week. he needs to be starting somewhere

Although it's also great to see DeAndre Hopkins killing it with the now 5-2 (!) Cardinals.
