That quarter was about as bad as it could have gone. Literally nothing went right. Time to play the second quarter as if it were 0-0. Shprt memoy. Truely hard this time, but gotta do it.

I agree with the lack of talent but how do you grade the coaching when the talent isn’t good?

There lies the problem. It’s difficult. Seth came here as an offensive guru guy and he has *mostly* lived up to that. Hasn’t done that well finding a “ying” to his “yang” outside of the first year.

but recruitment has really picked up and I do think he has some extremely talent players that need a year or so seasoning.

I kind of think going for it on 4th right there was a pretty big sign of disrespect. I know it's only the 1st but there's no need to run up the score like that. Poor sportsmanship imo.

Mostly /s

So it’s their fault for trying to score? Or is it our fault for not being able to stop them? It’s on us.

Until he does it without Fine I’m holding judgement that he’s a good offensive coach.

Losing to a team that is significantly better than us while also missing multiple starters is not bad coaching, when our players are worse than theirs it's just difficult to make simple plays just look at how we ran through HBU.  I'll reserve my judgement on our coaching for a game where we are playing a team on our level like Southern Miss

We aren’t playing Clemson. It’s SMU.

His body of work throughout his career says he’s a good offensive coach. Just look at his stops and how much the offensive evolved at each place.

I’ll entertain the idea that he’s been average as a head coach but to say he’s not a good OFFENSIVE coach would be ignoring obvious facts and stats.

No sh!t, I’m not excusing him. I’m just saying how do you even grade coaching (much less give it a pass) when the talent isn’t there in the first place   It’s all an indictment on SL.

Luckily, that's not part of his job. /s

Did you see this game last year?  Their team is mostly the same with aspirations of going undefeated, we got worse and less experienced.

You think I really give a damn how he did at Indiana?

And you consider our offense tonight improved?
