Some funny stories some of us could tell about Richard Scarborough Spears. For instance, Rick & I once went to a Baylor-TCU game at ACS & he had had one too many.  We stood up after one play & I spilt his (JD & coke) drink on him.  The expression on his face was priceless!😆 For years he joked about that.  
Post-TCU/Baylor game we go to the parking lot —get in his car & found ourselves in a terrific traffic jam so....he told me to take the wheel (which I did) & he gets out of his car & proceeded to direct traffic!🤠  I’m surprised we both didn’t get pulled over by the TCU police.  I miss him. 
RIP, Rick.  
PS:  Rick Spears spent the last 25 years of his life alcohol free.👍👍
