No. Not a cloud in the sky. It was a really nice day. High scoring game. We scored right at the end to win. It was awesome.

OK...I'm thinking of another game I believe that season...

Was thinking UNLV? My memory isn't what it used to be!

But I just remember I've never stood in rain like that before

We did exceed 40,000 students this Fall, yes.

Wow! What a milestone this is & during a pandemic to boot!

Way to go North Texas administration,  student recruiters & Admissions!👍👍

This is fantastic news!  I figured enrollment would go down.

Form Provost Cowley last month:

Quote
Enrollment for fall is up Fall: 4.0% Headcount, +3.2% Student Credit Hours (note this is a timing issue and will likely decline later this week). New graduate enrollment in SCH is up 34.4%, FTIC is -8.6%, Transfer is -18.9%. And on a positive note continuing students is up 7.9% - indicating strong retention.

FTIC is First Time In College.

CW,  Texas public universities used to have the final enrollment numbers after 10(?) days in class so does UNT have those numbers yet? Just curious.

We played Nevada in a monsoon in the 90’s, can’t remember what year.

Dave South , the ultimate homer. I think Dave Elmendorf was his broadcast partner .

Yes Mr. South was that, Marty,  albeit he did throw a few bouquets at UNT before the end of the 1’st half In the video.

Of course, listening to SWC veteran broadcaster Kern Tipps as teens would bring back fond memories for many of us.  I miss the SWC even with us not in it.

Me neither, I can't remember. The wettest game I can remember at NT was McNeese in 1994. It was a lake on that field. We needed as many people in the stands as possible to get back to D1. A lot of people still came. I was wet to the bone.

Referred to as our Census date, which was this past Saturday.

We’ll soon have validated numbers not only for enrollment headcount, but more importantly total registered credit hours, the latter of which is crucial in solidifying budget outlooks.

Proud of you guys for kicking butt in a very difficult time.  I hope we come out of this even stronger.
