Yeah I just hope the results aren’t like Dajon’s against Nicholls State in 2014. Really bad team made him look good, but was a turnover machine in every other start against FBS opponents

Its turned into a pretty sloppy game. HBU missed two FGs, NT made some mistakes of its own.

Well at least NT is up. But it is not exactly the blowout I was hoping for and one or two bad drives in the second half and this could become a game

Sure Tate. Littrell is a seasoned OC at the D1 level that announced he would be calling the plays this year when he let Reeder go. Now I am sure he decided to change the offense to Argyle High’s once you were hired in January.

Aune has more skill, he hasn’t played football in 6/7 years so there’s some rust that needs to be knocked off.

First half takeaway: Football kicks ass

Well, I am not sure how I feel about this team coming out of the first half.    I certainly don't see any dominance over a lower division opponent.     I don't think we have a single QB sack and little pressure coming up front.      The offense has had it's moments, but against a terrible D.   Zappe has a lot more poise and accuracy than both our QB's at this point.  But, he is a senior and our guys are very young.   At least we are not losing.

If UNT was playing anyone that wasn't an average to below average FCS tonight, they would be getting beat right now. Even then, this game isn't over yet.

This defense doesn't substantially improve, it is going to be a long year for NT.
