My understanding was it was shit down due to political fighting and they wanted to wait after the election to resume..

Agree some things get edgy, but that is why this board is here. I do believe if individuals are making personal attacks they can be asked to watch what they are doing without locking down a thread and especially without shutting down an entire part of the board. Yes, the Mods have a tough job, but some of them dish it out pretty well also. Seems to follow the line of - we want communication, unless people say something that is not liked.
