I had USM down as an optimistic close win on the way to 7-4...   That win clearly looks more like a realistic one now.

I know Wren and Co will be more strict than those people down in the deep south

Oh for sure, and that's great in a "we got our house covered" individualist mindset. But like all things pandemic, true solutions require more of a collectivist frame. If our opponents don't take care of business as well as we do and start to drop out, then there goes our season along with them.

I had to listen to our game against S. Miss last year, so this is really the first long look I’ve had at Abraham.  He sounded like the second coming of Mason Fine in the game against us.  He absolutely torched us.  
 

Now having watched him in a full game he is really slow to make a decision and get rid of the ball.  They have a new OC this year, so maybe that’s part of it?  It doesn’t help that they have zero run game.

I was reading on the SOMO fan forum they had a lot of players opt out this are transferring.  I don't know what happened over there but they lost their leading pass rusher and others.   Most are taking the grad transfer path out of SOMOVILLE.   It is really hurting them and they are not fond of the HC.
