I don't believe this is an issue of age.  That would be a sexual assault charge.  This is improper relationship.

I'm looking at Texas Penal Code § 21.12

EDIT: if this is about his previous employment at Argyle, then I would not be surprised if further charges come up.

This will be all of the charges

This isn’t something that caught the surprise of the people above him (i.e. Littrell and Wren) but the big question that looms is what was the knowledge on this when he was hired?

This is not something North Texas knew about, or could have known about, prior to the hire.  I’ll leave it at that.

Good I'll take your word for it.

The balls on this guy to think this wouldn't catch up to him and he could just get right back in to coaching at FBS level.

What a douchebaging coward.

There is no way in 2020 we were unaware of this.

Whoever is responsible for this oversight needs to be fired as well.

And if we were aware and still hired him I don't even know what to say.

How do you come to this conclusion? So somehow in 2020 everything is known. Your quite an assumption.

Are you implying that this was know and accepted?

We are better than this. He has to go. Why am I having flashbacks to Kelvin Martin getting arrested right before the start of the 2002 season. Don’t need the distraction

I said the big question is what knowledge did they have of the situation when he was hired. If it’s none, then it’s none. Not implying anything, just asking the question.

Yep and a bunch of folks on here were willing to look the other way and hire Briles. Get rid of this dude now. He can get his second or third chance somewhere else.

Exactly.  In two years he will be at Liberty and let them deal with him and the rest of the Briles crew.

I can't believe Baylor was this rotten inside and out in order to reach football success.  Of course we will temporarily be talked about because we disregarded warnings of hiring said Baylor coaches... but Baylor really did assemble the be-all and end-all crew of shitbags in order to climb out of their rut.

And I hate to have to say this but the calls for MF or QS to be QB coach during the week of our first game is very Old Denton.  They have weeks of coaching experience and we are past that BS.  Hire them a year or two from now and I am all sorts of happy.  They are Grad Assistants... not Position Coaches.

....How about we let the situation play out.... how about we get some details..I know this takes the fun away from a public lynching.. but how about we put the pitchforks down and see what comes of this..
