Strong second round and is six strokes out of the lead. Needs to put two more good rounds together and shock the world.

Starts the third round with 2 birdies in the first four holes. Only 4 shots out of the lead and T7.

Had an up and down round, but this is not an easy course. He was up to T4, I believe, and was as low as -4 on his round at one time. DJ is running away with it, but Munoz could make a move and finish in the Top 10 easily.

Munoz is on fire 🔥 today! Started with a bogey on the first hole, then birdied 4 of the next 6 holes. Currently tied for 6th place. Hope he can keep it going.

I think the payout depends the players Fed Ex points. Some players came in lower than Munoz, but earned more money because the had more Fed Ex points than Munoz. Least that’s how I read it.

Well. In any case, this was not a lean year for Munoz. Established himself firmly in the tour, made life changing money and will be able to play any tournament he wants next season, be they majors or not.

NT would be fools not to feature their 2 successful alums when on the recruiting trail.

Munoz finished T8th in the FedEx points race and pocketed $960,000.
