OL Chandler Anthony elected the transfer portal. As a graduate transfer he is eligible to play right away.

With practices already underway, isn’t this decision a bit late ?  How likely is a team to allow a new player, albeit a player with experience, to transfer in ?  Or was this decision just slow seeing daylight ?

He retired/left the team a while ago, but had not elected to put his name in the transfer portal until now.

His market is likely with FCS schools, many of which have moved their seasons to the spring. So plenty of time for him.
