TCU dropped games against P.V. A&M  and SMU and kept Tenn. Tech. I would think that they will find a 1AA  school to play on the 12th. Any ideas if we are trying to replace cancelled Texas A&M money game ?

Well, you have to be asked to dance, and we have not nor probably will be. Arkansas State  is available on the 12th which could be a good game even though we could be the underdog.

Good idea plus there would be no problem limiting attendance.

Big 12 allowed for only one non conference home game this season and that game will be  against SMU. Game will be season opener, moved to sept 12th. But I agree, we should play TCU every year too.

why would we not play, brings in fans and it is football

This argument doesn't always work.  Try and see things from a Mustang perspective: every opponent they could possibly play brings in more fans than their own and they still like to give some of them the middle finger!

I want a full schedule.  I just saw SMU’s amended schedule and it is full and lays out nicely for them to tune up with SFA before welcoming Memphis to Ford. Sucks they don’t have a home game until the end of the month but totally drivable ones to San Marcos, Fort Worth And Denton.

Good luck Wren getting the 12th date filled.
