If they go, it looks like TCU will stiff SMU and play Tennessee Tech as their +1

Can't say I blame them. smut would probably beat them.

What in the name of... is going on here - so I guess we're going to have two separate seasons (fall covid deniers and spring covid scardeycats)? What happens to any concept of a "National Champion"???

This is brilliant honestly.  With 2 of the P5 conferences out of the picture, a Big 12 team might have a shot at a national title.

On second thought, nah, the SEC is still playing

Every year I tell my wife, "why, oh why, must football come but once a year?" I may get my wish and have it twice! Woohoo!

Missouri State is scheduled to play Oklahoma in Norman September 12th for $600,000. They are a member of the Missouri Valley Conference which cancelled fall ball for all conference games and plans to play in the spring of 2021.However, they allowed their members to play non conference games this year. As of today Missouri State has one game scheduled in 2020, which is against Oklahoma. Am I the only one who finds this ludicrous?

Well ,the Southland Conference is doing the same as MVC with no conference games but allowing members to schedule non conference games, hence our September 5th home opener against Houston Baptist. So I guess the rational for no conference games is concern for the physical health of the players, but the green light for non conference games is for the financial health of the program. Beam me up Scotty, there is no sign of intelligent life here.

Well, alternative spring football the past two years has failed midseason. Does this mean the Big 10 and Pac-12 are about to implode?

One can only hope.
