Disclosure: I know nothing about the transfer rules.

Is the portal still open? Could a player transfer from a school not playing to one that is this late in the game?

I realize there will be several more dominoes to fall, so probably wouldn't be worth it if it was allowed, but it'd be fun to see this play out like free agency in pro sports, but only because it might benefit G5 schools.

Unless NCAA steps in with an emergency rule players at schools not playing get a free transfer as long as they don’t miss last day to enroll at the new school
