Traditional TEs are the most athletic position on the field. Get a ton of them, then move any excess to LB, DE or elsewhere depending on player's size and team needs.

I believe that more Tight Ends is a function of increased use of that position. It is a change from the prior use of many offensive sets which featured 4 wrs and no te.

Now NT runs a lot of plays with multiple tes and more emphasis on the run.

My thoughts as well. Since this is basically a free year eligibility wise I wonder if we are trying some players out at different positions to have backups for Covid Issues that arise

My guess is absolutely, same for Loronzo Thompson. Don’t think they’d give up on a guy at the position they recruited him at 2 games into his true freshman season.

Wow. I'm pretty much on the fire Littrell train at this point, but this is egregious.

I think you're taking this further than intended.

If Seth is benching starters in favor of younger guys just "wanting game time", then you have a point. I just have a hard time believing that. You would be running the starters out of your program.
