What sports are most likely to be played in today's coronavirus conditions.

All contact sports would be out such as football, basketball and soccer.

Tennis and golf seems to be obvious sports that could be played.

Swimming and diving plus track seem possible.   Could actually be scored based on times not person to person races.

Softball and baseball with minor modifications, no conferences on the mound and no sliding.

Volleyball would probably be out, as limiting all close contact seems impossible.

Somehow the English Premier League is pulling it off with 2 games per week. Figure out a strategy and make it happen. Either hole up or plan for it to run through the team. But this cancel everything until there is a cure or something is ridiculous.

I’m encouraging my niece and nephew going to Tech and UNT this fall to forge some sense of normalcy such as get on campus, go to parties, go to classes, study hard, work part time... Time to live and accomplish again.

England went on full lock down, got a head of the virus, and emerged in relatively good shape all things considered.

Golf seems safer than tennis because you don’t have as much risk of multiple people touching your balls.  Although, you could mark your balls so you know whose balls you are touching.
