Mooney with the 0. Have we ever had a player wear that number before?

Some in basketball.  I don’t recall a zero in any football team.  I’d like to see “6” held out for a year.

NCAA just approved 0 being a legal number in football.

Jim Otto of the Oakland Raiders wore 00 back in the early ‘70s and he was a center.

Unusual to see an OL wearing an eligible receiver number.  Al probably had some sort of waiver from Rozelle.
