We could have football this fall but the leadership is terrible.

To imply Universities are not concerned with the safety of students and others is wrong. Perhaps UNT and others are worried about the financial impacts coming. I know there are those who do not like athletics increasing rolls on campuses and would like to see teams eliminated.. I believe we will start seeing smaller programs drop football and be sure when that happens a lot of women's teams that were added to comply with Title 9 will go. Like it or not football supports a lot more than just football players.

And for the person tweeting - It is you choice - you do not have to participate if you choose not to, no one is going to force you to attend a game if you do  not want to.
