I don’t think we will play football this year and it makes me sad.

Think Texas colleges will play. But if no college football.... 2021 college FB landscape will possibly be different.

If you really look at it, these workouts are helping. Players are getting tested and of course some will have it, but it’s better than having it for a while and not knowing.
Obviously is bad, but better knowing and not spreading.

I am beginning to doubt if there will be students on campus this fall at all.  Wonder if they have it before gone to practice or got it at practices?    I am starting to doubt that there will be a season next year.  This could speed up realignment of conferences if no season is not played this year.

This may be bad for football, but is not really bad news in the big scheme of things.  It seems to indicate that COVID has gotten seriously widespread at this point yet our hospitals are not even close to being overrun.  If you're not immunocompromised in some way (due to age or other factor) it isn't really a big deal.

and you live 50 feet underground, writing your manifesto rather than interacting with any other human being.

otherwise, yup...still a big deal.

Get it now, recover and play ball in the Fall.

To clarify, this was a "tongue in cheek" comment.  I am not advocating for anyone to catch this virus, or any illness for that matter, but if that many have it and the typical recovery/quarantine time for someone that has this illness and recovers is two weeks, it seems most would have anti-bodies by the time the season rolls around.
