Article doesn't say if it is from an antibody test (50% false positive chance) or from other forms of testing.

As he was symptomatic, I'm pretty sure he was given the viral swab testing. You generally don't give an antibody test to someone symptomatic, since at that point they very well haven't developed sufficient antibodies yet.

Correct. Antibody tests don’t help you prevent the spread of the virus among the team members. They hopefully capture data on who was infected by the virus at least two weeks previously. Useful for understanding the spread but useless for short term needs like this.
