It’s federal law, so...

Again...why are you going to let the ship sink for the sake of woman’s water polo. Exceptions are going to have to be made.

The coaching staff at Boise was furloughed for ten days...not forever. Well, ten days if they made over a certain amount...some for seven days.....not permanent.

I wonder how Title IX will effect the sports selected to be cut?

Well....ODU cut men's wrestling and Cincinnati cut men's soccer. Does that give you any hints?

That’s wishful thinking, these P5 schools make payroll (paying players) just fine with off the books boosters what makes you think the large donor base won’t help during these times? The opposite is true at G5 schools 🤨

mostly because the first item most financially smart boosters make during times like these are unnecessary expenses

They'll come back at some point, but they're going to be timid about it. and not seeing a season of football in Texas probably puts it back of mind

I think ODU planned to add women's soccer, which would have  cost about what they saved in wrestling. Bottom line is that as CUSA is now configured ODU is out the door.Their AD heads up a conference committee to look at

CUSA costs with report out end of April. We are in a conference with a failed business model and the only way I see out of it is to partner with SBC and create two regional conferences. AAC looks at itself as the 6th P5 conference and seems not to be interested in adding teams, especially UNT. We are in a pickle.

Most of the boosters at the P5 schools, especially the SEC, consider their support a necessary expense.

Looks like we’re heading that way....

What makes you say that?  I think we are jumping to a lot of conclusions especially after Baker mentioned we are positioned well.  It will be important for all of us to give whatever we are able to give to the MGSF.
