No "MF'ers" there, so I think he holds no ill will!

I think he is "past" what happened. Might also be doing the things he needs to do to be in line for HC jobs

Still have my doubts whether DD would be HC material in today's world of college athletics. He is a very good assistant and has proven he can coach a variety of different positions as an assistant.  Just not sure about HC...way way too political a job these days and too many booster challenges.  Don't know, but do think he'd be better staying at the assistant level. Just my opinion of course.

Probably a lot better for his health and overall emotional well being when you're not working for pennies under an athletic director named RV.

I guess that we need a scapegoat but not all of our problems during the Dickey era were RV's fault.  As Silver corroborated from the TF interview, we were vastly underfunded during that time.  To RV's credit he did get us the beginnings of the athletic complex.  True, his hires weren't the greatest but again money was a factor towards getting the better coaches.

I was really highlighting the tense relationship between RV and DD, and the piss-poor budget DD had to work with.

I know not everything was RV's fault.

If we are honest with things, winning a lot will get you a ton of wiggle room for PR.
