START AUNE!!

This is the overwhelming opinion I’m clinging to.  Maturity, P5 experience and a seemingly steady personality and game.  We need a stable captain during this transition and my money is on that guy.  Get the ball to 1 and 16 when possible and keep the chains moving.  If we protect him we can deal I bet.

The more reps Bean gets with 1’s, the better he’ll become.

Aune is still rusty.   Those two will drive each other to be better over the summer & into Fall practice.

Coach Littrell likes Bean a little more as of last season.  That can change, & with a new OC, there might be more volatility, but otherwise it should be Bean’s job to lose.

My bet is Bean will be the QB.  He will give NT a dual threat QB that should be hard for any opposing team to cope with.

Having said that it should be a great competition and should produce a QB that can lead this NT team.

I think Littrell would prefer that Bean's passing ability improves enough that they can make use of his outstanding running speed.  We just haven't seen that yet.  I think he'll get a long leash to start the season but I have doubts as to if he'll succeed.

Bean better be packing on some weight! I have concerns about his durability as a runner. I hope Aune (pronounced Aune) steps into the starting position.

I’m worried though because we play some much bigger teams, and from what I saw in the LT game it concerns me a lot

Maybe we can have Mason play and name him Fason Mine

Nah, he’s gonna be busy unseating some NFL QB.

He spent one spring with arguably the worst coaching staff in all of college football.  I don't know how much that brings to the table, TBH.

There’s a confidence that comes with it is more my point but you’re right it’s potentially a slim benefit.  We’ll see it play out.
