Just watched his highlights so far from this year, and there are maybe 5 or 6 total defensive plays in the entire 5 minute clip and in those he is simply making a tackle.  Not a tackle for a loss or sack, just a plain tackle.. most players who are solely on defense probably wouldn't include these clips in their film.  Not a knock on him at all, because he shows a ton of speed in those defensive clips.

But then there are probably 20+ offensive plays where he is breaking multiple tackles, out running everyone for 70 yard touchdowns, blocking guys down field, you get the point.  He seems much more physical with the ball in his hands, so I'm really wondering why we are putting him on defense.

Committed as a LB

247 shows him as 6'1" and 190 lbs.  If he can put on about 30 lbs. with the speed that he has he has a chance to become a real asset.  I'd leave him at LB until he proves that he can't do it.  His film as a Jr. shows primarily offense but the few defense plays that were on film shows that he hits with authority.

Well this sucks. 2021 class is getting pretty damned thin. Are we thinking we will have more spring signings instead of early signing this year?

Think I might shy away from Lawton, OK.  Good luck to the kid, but tired of the canned comment "respect my decision..."  I respected the one you made prior that said you were coming here.
