Rick Gosselin knows what he is talking about! If any team took a shot on Mason Fine, I would wager they would be most happy that they did so.

Great article.  Fine will make it to the NFL.

Tell me, even thought Fine was not invited to the combine, can't he still be drafted by an NFL team?  Rather than Mason getting "invited" to some team's camp as a UFA, I think someone will draft him.  Fine is good and the guy has "moxie".

Yes he can still get drafted. I still think he has a shot of being a late round pick with a good pro day.

Since he didn't get the combine invite, it means he's not really being seriously considered by many, if any, teams.   

He's going to need to wow at the NT Pro Day (which we all know he will).   He should have a pretty nice audience there because scouts will want to see Hambone (who did get a combine invite), and will likely have a note to check him out too.

I think the Saints wold be a good place for him, especially now that DB is staying another year.

I tend to agree. But he is certainly worthy and could perform at that level.

Like Guyton when he ran the 4.3 40 or whatever that was
