They are called bonus games because people are morons.  They should be called Pod games, if anything.

 

NT is not regular season champs.  The conference slate is 18 games...we've played 15.

I saw the TV broadcast ... I am pretty sure that is what they said..." If UNT wins.. they would be the conference champ."  Maybe it wasn't correct but that is what I heard.  ( UNT won it)

They weren't correct IF that is what they said.  That's not how I remember it though.

Exactly what I thought.

 

They stated that we'd be the #1 team in the top Pod, not that we'd won the regular season.
