Honestly I think this could be disastrous for G5 schools and lower level P5 schools

https://footballscoop.com/news/report-big-ten-proposed-letting-every-player-transfer-and-play-immediately/

Really good players on bad P5 teams or G5 teams would have the chance to leave. What is 5, 6. or more leave a team? What is a coach leaves a school and takes multiple players with him?

Guess on the other hand, G5's could pick off players also.

I honestly this this could be worse than the transfer portal.

Why not have P-5 be the major leagues and the rest of us their farm system.  P-5 will kill college football in the long run if it hasn't already.

College football use to be so great when the teams were more equals.  The P-5 have sucked all the money up and TV.   No good will come from them.  Maybe congress should investigate after they finish with the Astros ....lol

Since 1994, the following schools have won a football national championship:

Nebraska, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, FSU, OU, Miami, tOSU, LSU, USC, UT, Alabama, Auburn, and Clemson

14 schools out of 100+ (now 130). College football hasn’t been equal ever,  but it’s the reality that about 25 schools are in the running each year to realistically win a title.

Congress will never investigate this because they represent states and universities that make a ton of money for their states.

This.  How many aggies and whorens are in the state legislature alone?  Now, how many more lsu, bama, buckeyes, etc are there across the nation?  They would never hurt their $$$$$$$

I'm not joking. They wouldn't intervene because it would hurt their alma maters. Otherwise, they would've stepped in by now.

Not to mention that most judges are graduates of these power schools, too...

I thought P5 had free transfer already; the way NCAA handed out waivers to any P5 transfer out of conference transfer. This past season was a joke on how many waivers they allowed
