It's been an interesting draft so far...the Eli Manning thing was pretty crazy. He sure got a lot of boos. I kinda wish the Cowboys would have taken Steven Jackson, he was an absolute steal that far down in the first round. I will have to trust that Bill won't steer us wrong. I also hope that Kevin Jones is still there when we finally get to pick.

Kevin Jones is gone at #30 to Detroit. This may be great next year with Buffalo's #1 pick, but we may have missed an opportunity for a good back. Maybe Parcells thought none of the backs were any better than what we already have.

Ouch...Jackson, Jones, and Perry are all gone. I hope they have something in mind. In just this offseason we've lost out on those three plus free agents like Corey Dillon and Duce Staley. Quincy is a decent QB, but we need an upgrade at RB to help him out. <_

Well dang, Tatum Bell gets grabbed up...and we end up with Julius Jones. This is not exactly who I pictured as the feature back for the Cowboys next year...but I guess we'll see.

I think Steven Jackson fell so far because teams were afraid his knee would give out in a couple of years.

I am fine with Julius Jones, I like him a lot better than Tatum Bell (who fumbles too easily). I was pulling for Greg Jones myself, but you gotta trust in Big Bill when it comes to running backs, he picked up Curtis Martin in the 3rd round. Julius Jones is a good reciever, is fast, and can return kicks, that may offer more (along with an extra pick and a #1 next year) than Kevin Jones.

I think that Jacob Rogers will end up being a steal.

I'm not really a Cowboy fan....

HOWEVER....I have to say I'd be happy with Julius Jones. He really impressed me this past season(even on a mediocre team). I think he'll fit very nicely in Dallas.
