They kept fighting.

Coach Mitchell is working hard. Totally different game plan from Thursday and the girls executed. Nobody panicked at the end. Mims played great defense and Townley actually took some shots.

The freshmen on this team are growing up.

The team is just too inconsistent and it is getting too late to blame it on youth.

I think Mitchell is still learning on the job.  She has shown she is a very good recruiter, but I do not understand her game time decisions.

For example, Shepard was beginning to dominate in the post and as soon as Townley and George become available she was pushed down in the lineup.

Another example, she has been reported as not being happy with the number of threes that NT throws up.  Does she not control that?

Hopefully, this team can improve enough to be a factor in the tournament.

I agree. Townley is only good for defense because she has very little to no offense. Shepard plays defense and will take shots. I would start her over Townley all day every day.

Charlene has the talent.  I think it is about attitude.  After the loss to SM, she and Anisha were laughing.  After the win yesterday,  she was clearly pissed.

What comes first for her?
