I’m so glad they ran that so they could get him some space outside of a traditional pocket to show case his arm.  Making throws the traditional way has never been his bag.  Sprint outs, bootlegs, etc.  Get him in some space and let it fly.

And a long TD run prevents another Mason Fine TD throw.  This is probably the last we see of Mason Today.

Huff got credit on that sack.  It looked like Hamilton to me.

I think Hambone has a really good shot at getting drafted.  He got a lot of time.  Shoulda put Mason in on the last drive.  I think Mason only got 3 drives if I counted correctly, which is BS.  He made the most of it though.

 Bah!  Isn’t that the same knock he had coming out of high school?  He still has a pro day, and maybe the combine. A long way til the draft.

Except that a simple viewing of any Mason highlight reel would show he makes that throw quite often, & oddly enough, has more TDs than INTs to show for it.

I noticed that, I mean isn’t it part of a receivers job to try and catch the ball around them? Or does it have to be a perfect in the numbers throw every time.

Great point. If it had been one of the "prototypical" P5 QB's all we would have heard is how they " put it in the only place" that gave the receiver a chance go up for it.

I mean Mason knew it was a 50/50 ball when he tossed it up, but I also think he knew who he was throwing it to.  Definitely not advisable to throw into double coverage, but with Mason's arm talent and Binjimon Victor's receiving talent, it worked out.
