Well another year of the Bison heard of fans coming to Frisco. Always a heavy fanbase.

Well another year of me going with my good friend Mike to the championship game in Frisco.  Mike went to NDSU and has adopted UNT as his local college team and attends Mean Green games regularly.  Go Bison!  Go Mean Green!

I just don't know how the players at that level are able to handle academics as well as a true championship bracket, yet the teams making millions at the FBS level are not able to do the same.  It just boggles the mind.

They are already starting to show up in Frisco. Just saw several at a restaurant. Really nice people with a fanbase better than many G5 schools. I guess winning or playing in the National Title game pretty much every season for a decade has that effect I guess. 

FBS teams want nothing to do with them. I remember the years they stunned teams like #13 Iowa or K-State at home. Pretty awesome program. It also helps when your QB is say Carson Wentz...

Don't have any experience up there, but I'm assuming any of us would take any opportunity to get out of Fargo, North Dakota.

I saw a few last night as well.  They've been fortunate with the weather the last several years, but they may get a dose of North Dakota weather tomorrow.

What is the reason NDST does so well in recruiting year after year? They always have a winning season and have beaten Division I teams.

Dr. Rogers Redding, ex head of the physics dept at UNT & SWC & SEC official is the officiating analyst for this game today.

His SWC crew was the officiating crew in NR.  That’s him in the white hat, middle top of the photo.

Fan support is a big part of it. Best fan base in FCS and better than probably 30-40% of FBS.
