Many of you know that I was born and raised in Denton before attending North Texas.  My in-laws now live in Robson Ranch and all of my family is still in Denton County.

Well, after 15 years of policing at Dallas PD, and the last two as Chief of the city of Keene, I am returning to my roots.  I will be sworn in as the Chief of Police in Argyle on January 2.

Congrats!!

Hey, congratulations, man. I just retired after a little over 30 years with the City of Dallas (in Geographic Information Systems), and noticed that there were reasons sworn law officers might find reasons to move up by moving on, but you'll know more about that than I. And Argyle seems about as fine a place as any to call home in North Texas nowadays.

I did notice going to the UAB game this year that there was a turkey loose in the middle of Hwy 377 in Argyle, eventually making good an escape in that critical Thanksgiving week. It actually had the most elusive moves I saw from any Denton County resident taking the field that day. I hope such is as bad as you find there.

Congrats sir. Any chance you put in for the Dallas chief after chief Hall is gone? We could use a real leader who knows DPD and the city of Dallas.
