UTSA fires Frank Wilson

This would be a GREAT move

And it would frre up cash to go after Kendall Briles on the offensive side.

We should be able to retain our previously committed quarterback, and could possibly get three of Frank's highly ranked recruits.

I thought Frank Wilson was a running backs coach and recruiting coordinator.

Correct he has a offensive pedigree.

It's easy to get confused.  For instance, many find our Defensive Coordinator to be offensive.

I know the offense was a disappointment, but what makes people believe Breeder is gonna be let go? Not if you think he /should/ be let go, but why you think it’s actually happening?

The prior school paying his salary thing is a little bit of a misconception. Almost all of these contracts have the caveat that he must reasonably seeking other employment and has to be paid a market salary for such employment.  See the fight that Arkansas is having/about to have with Bret Bielema.  Sure, you can take advantage of it to some extent, but it's not like you could pay $1 for an FBS coordinator.
