I want coach Mitchel to be successful, but this season has to finally show clear progress, because the last few seasons were rather disappointing. I always thought there were somewhat understandable reasons and bad luck, but at some point you become your record as a coach. A start with a loss to a NAIA team is definitely a pretty big step in the wrong direction yet again.

If she weren't an alumna I wonder if the pressure would have mounted sooner.

MACU had five players with two or more three's, including 10 of 16 in second half. NT had only two three's the whole game. Our best shooters graduated last year.

MACU got beat in their next game losing to Houston Tillotson. 

Very bad start for NT. 

Be interesting to see how many threes they throw up tonight against Alcorn St., the best team on their schedule thus far.
