Good find @97and03

Seems we are seeing a big uptick in juco offers.

Yes and although we need to add a few key pieces, it worries me how many JUCO offers we are seeing since the losing streak started.

You'll always see a spike in JUCO offers around this time of the year.  Now is the time to offer JUCO guys who have improved or proven they can play at a high level.   These are the types of guys who weren't recruited by D1 schools before for whatever reason, and went on to prove themselves at JUCO.  Now, they've played a few games and have shown they can play at a high level, so the offers start rolling in.

Nothing to be alarmed about.

Last year the staff was intent with the roster we had and basically signed a class full of high schoolers. Added a couple jucos late and grad transfers.

This year it looks like the opposite. We are content with our high schoolers between this class and last and I think you’re going to see us fill the rest of the class up with JUCOs and grad transfers.

I understand the staff was counting on the K-State transfer but after four years this position group has been abandoned.

No chance at the  CUSA title if this group isn't better than S. Miss & LA Tech. Take a look at the Southern Miss roster. If we had that size I'd be fine with 18 WRs.

Like the DD era or not, we won because we whipped people up front.  Some of our best OL and DL were from that era.  What I would do for a Nick Zuniga, Andy Brewster, Booger, Awasome, Cardwell, Pruitt, etc...

Immediately in the 2-deep at DT if the new DC runs a 4-man front.

Novil, Dempsey, Leblanc, and Colvin has the makings of a decent 2-deep. Not the makings of being the strength of the team necessarily, but certainly not a group that projects as being a weak unit like some of us were afraid of.

Add McCrae to the line at DE with the youngsters coming up and maybe another potential JUCO and our front 6/7 is looking better.
