I believe we have one of the oldest teams in college basketball. It helps to have maturity and players that don't get rattled in away games because they have been in that environment before. I would take a basketball team full of transfer college juniors every year. The same for football.
The Super Pit is fine. It's not even in the Top 50 oldest college arenas.

And we shouldn't just build to build. There are a number of great basketball venues across the country that are not new. Personally, I think the SP has aged well. Could it use some more "bells and whistles"? Sure, but it is not a bad looking arena. I have heard that there are some issues with the mechanical systems, etc. but don't know if that is true or not.
