"I really didn’t want to do this to you UNT. I still think you’re likely to win C-USA West but you can not lose at home to a Houston team that was mired in dysfunction and started their backup QB. You just can’t. This team is completely dependent on if Mason Fine can carry them and on Saturday against Houston’s athletes he couldn’t. I don’t think UNT will play a more talented defense than the Coogs so UNT should bounce back in conference play. We’ll find out quickly as the Mean Green will have a bye before playing Southern Miss."

FAU is starting to worry me.  They always start out the gate slow and with humiliating losses, then Lane and Company start taking shots, loosening up, going south beach and bam the swagger is back. I really don’t want to see us have to go back to Boca should we be that lucky.

FAU was my sleeper for the East winner. They have so much speed and talent on defense, and the offense is starting to form.

FAU's wins have come against inferior competition.  In fact, looking at their schedule, I don't think they have a tough game until the last one of the year.  I watched some of the MUTS game this past Saturday and their defense is horrendous.
