Yes the ACC does have a huge edge which some of us probably feared, but SMU has shown the college football world you don’t have to wait on a 5 year plan to turn a football program around.  Just be very creative with your transfers recruiting program & go from rags to riches in one year.  Who dares do that even at the CUSA level?

❇️ What A Difference One Year Makes:  Last year we kicked SMU’s butt & then SMU promptly kicked UH’s butt; then today——we have some obvious UNT-hater who I’d wager (among other things) can’t deal with our school’s warp-like speed in building P5-like venues that will help us catch up to AAC’esque quality sooner than later;  anyway, he posts a thread on Harry’s GMG fan forum expressing how worthless he thinks we are as a program?  Please.......

Last night at a filled Apogee Stadium some will actually accept as a learning moment.  We as UNT fans still need to be a bit more classy with our own even in this loss after the Coogs bent us all over with their kick in all our respective MG family jewels.  Still hurts matter a fact,  but It’s not like we haven’t suffered thru past setbacks, right?   We need not ever start enjoying those & keep saying “it’s just what we do” albeit tempting to do so at times.

Yet do the below images show an NCAA FBS Athletic program in retreat or not up to the challenges of doing what we did to an AAC school just 12 months ago?

So let's get a coaching staff up to those standards! We have the plan. We need the staff the live up to it
