For a cougar offense that was giving up so many yards in passing, it's a bit surprising to only have 6 points at the half.  The good part is that it appears our defense has finally settled down.  See also the Cal game.

Houston’s band did a great job. They played a song people know and nailed their lines. 

For some weird reason our band has been mediocre at best this season. Their lines and movement are always off and they are playing songs no one knows.

So Holgram laid out the option for players to red shirt after 4 games before the season started. Seems they have 5 or 6 high rated transfers from P5 who are sitting out.

Aren’t people speculating the reason they’re all sitting is because of the high level transfers playing next year? King would come back and lead the team that can make noise on the national landscape.

Did the UNT Green Brigade form a comb during theirs? What was I looking at?

 

The combined band performance was the best performance by UNT representatives at Apogee so far.  Good to see us UNiTe with UofH. 😞😑

I like this series.  It makes sense for UNT and Houston, the big metro State programs bringing it to each other's house every year.  Too bad we're not in AAC or can't develop a longer term series with them a la SMU.
