This young man is piling up the offers.

Besides us, now has offers from Houston, Kansas, Liberty, Northwestern, OK St., Ole' Miss, Purdue, Rice, smuT, TCU, TX Tech, Tulsa, Utah, Vanderbilt, William & Mary and Illinois State.

Good news is we have been recruiting d line very well. Signed 3 d-linemen last class who had multiple P5 offers, and have one committed currently who has 4 P5 offers. O line is a much different case.

Oh we sign 4-6 each year but they lack offers and are rarely capable of playing tackle. I feel like we have 40 interior linemen on the roster.

Yes, these outline the issues perfectly. And you look at our 2021 offers, every tackle we have offered is committed with the exception of 3: Max Merrill (showing warm to Louisville), Joseph Amos (showing warm to SMU and Houston), and Anton Ambuehl. We are Ambuehl’s only FBS offer. 

We have recruited every other position very well recently, with the arguable exception of QB. Maybe we should just try and work the transfer market more effectively, although Plantin flopped as well. Maybe guys who have to sit a year then have multiple years of eligibility left?

For O-line do you seeing us going after more JUCO or Transfers moving forward? We just don't seem to have luck with HS recruiting for O linemen

We’ve signed a JUCO offensive lineman every year under Littrell, and some years more than one. So I think we’ll continue to sign JUCO offensive linemen. But I want to see us get more creative and look at the FBS transfer market for offensive linemen, especially guys who have multiple years of eligibility left, rather than just grad transfers.

We need to find some way to up our talent level and size on the line. We have redshirted every high school o-linemen Littrell has signed so having adding an FBS transfer or two who has to sit out a year shouldn’t throw off our depth.

I am not a DD fan, but he seemed to have little problem getting offensive linemen.  He didn't recruit many and tended to start the good ones very early and only changed his OL lineup do to eligibility loss. 

Just an observation, but Littrell seems to struggle getting good OL.  Or perhaps DD and staff was just better in developing offensive linemen.

      The raised floor at Williams Arena, also known as "the Barn" in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was designed to improve sightlines for fans and create a buffer zone between the court and the fans: Better view: The raised floor allows fans to see more of the action on the court. Buffer zone: The raised floor creates a separation between the fans and the court. Historic feature: The raised floor is one of the few remaining in the United States and contributes to the arena's historic feel. Unique feature: The raised floor makes Williams Arena different from other arenas and memorable for visitors. The raised floor is about two feet above the ground, which means that the first row of seats are below the court and fans are roughly at the players' knee level. Only head coaches are allowed on the court during play, except for officials and players who are actively playing. Williams Arena is one of the oldest basketball arenas in the country, having opened in 1928. The arena is home to the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball team, which competes in the Big Ten Conference. It used to also house indoor football practice, tennis, indoor track, and hockey. The building was remodeled in 1950. Renamed in honor of Dr. Henry L. Williams, U of M football coach from 1900 to 1921, it was divided into a hockey arena on one end and a basketball arena with a seating capacity of 18,025 on the other. From 1950 until 1971, it had the largest capacity of any collegiate basketball arena in the country.       A real quick check via google can tell you that NT's defense is top 5 in the nation. https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1/current/team/146 While on google, one could also see that NT's pace-of-play is bottom 10 in the nation. https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/stat/possessions-per-game ERGO... Teams are going to score much less than they normally do against us, and it's going to frustrate the heck out of their fans if they don't know anything about us except that we're "a good mid-major".
