I am looking at UAB's schedule and it looks like a good chance they are undefeated coming to Denton the last game.

We need to really root for UAB until November 24! No matter what we do this year having an 11-0 ranked team playing in Denton has happened when?

(Again not talking about our record at all or what we will do in that game. Not overlooking anyone on OUR schedule. This is just a what if for our opponents. Please don't yell About one game at a time.)

UAB has the easiest schedule in the entire country this season. I don’t buy into UAB being that great. It’s not that hard to be undefeated so far with that schedule.

Exactly.

Watch for UAB with an upcoming 45,000 seat stadium & a large city campus location try to put CUSA in its rear view mirror & start courting the AAC.  They seem to be using UCF & USF as their model, & meanwhile........🤢

I think their Admin's history (which is tied to Alabama more than a lot of people think) of supporting the football program might limit their ability to jump to a different conference.

UAB WILL Not be undefeated when they play here at the end of the year.

They played a close game against Alabama State, Won by 9 to a winless Akron team and beat up a 1 Win USA team. They are a good team dont get me wrong but they will drop at least two games before they come to Denton.

UAB has not proved much at this point although they are undefeated.

They lost a lot of players from last  year.

I don't see them contending in CUSA, but that could obviously change.

Those FPI ratings are very poor in my opinion.   They rank everyone so close, most games they predict are home team wins.

What will help them with the AAC folks is that they have played them before in conferences, have a solid basketball program with solid history, and provide a decent market in Birmingham. I think there recommitment will help sell them to the AAC, but that may not be enough to make the AAC folks replace UConn with them. But make no mistake, that’s a good spot for UAB to be in...

They play in a 71k seat stadium currently they can't even remotely fill, even last season during their big run.  To add insult to injury regarding Legion Field, they tore down the upper deck because no one used it and it was condemned.
