Blast From Past! North Texas Beats SMU in Dallas (County) at Texas Stadium Matchup!

From that 1977 game North Texas cheerleaders got big laughs from Mean Green fans when Scrappy was escorted by 2 MG cheerleaders with all 3 running across the Texas Stadium football field after North Texas TD's.  That was a slight poke at the SMU tradition when 2 SMU cheerleaders escort their Pony after a 'Stangs TD. 

That photo of our of 2 UNT cheerleaders & Scrappy is somewhere on the internet but I could not find it.  Anyone else have that pic?

I remember in 2017 when one of the homeboys got dragged down the field by the pony. It was hilarious!
