Own a much less positive note C USA is looking like a joke. Once again we are in the worst conference in all of football.

Good--means UNT has no business not winning the thing.

I agree. I had made the comment during the summer that you could tell early on if Seth was planning on moving on as he would be more concerned with padding stats then developing backups

UTEP was one of the worst teams in history the last few years. Did you expect them to help make the conference look good?

Not at all but Houston Baptist? Isn’t that a fairly new program?

Not sure about that. If we don’t at least get to 9 wins this year I don’t think he’s going anywhere. He hasn’t done much other than win regular season games in the worst conference in FBS.

Jesus it's the first game of the season.  Lay off with this ****

Why should he? Look what has happened to us in the past when Fine has gone down? It's frustrating that Seth does not appear to think it's an issue

I'm more talking about the Seth leaving talk.  I am frustrated that Fine is still playing.

If they were padding Mason's stats they wouldn't be running it nearly every play.  They aren't padding stats.

OK. Short passes don't up the completion percentage?

I guess i don't get what this big "experience/preparation" factor is that backup QBs get by coming into garbage time and handing the ball off.... what team anywhere puts a backup QB in and runs the normal offense/throws the ball much at ALL? Don't fear injuries. You can't. I don't love running Fine either, but I don't mind him being in the game.

I was thinking this game would be 60-7 give or take a field goal. If it ends now and we give up 31 and win by 20 that’s concerning.

I also thought Fine would have had 500 yards passing with 5-6 TDS and be resting mid 4th quarter.
