Every year we make a big deal out of College Colors Day at our office. We decorate up the tables, Hang flags, cater in wings for lunch, And the employees bring side dishes. Prizes are given for different food catagories

In addition,  this entire week we have a single elimination corn hole tournament. So tomorrow, the championship game is played during the lunch in front of the entire office, about 75 people. It actually gets pretty nerve-racking in front of that many people. Here’s a photo of our studio after we finished decorating tonight  

Anybody else’s office do anything Tomorrow?

My granddaughter’s kindergarten class has college T-shirt day today. I’m guessing for the whole school.

We did college colors day when I was at the Euless Library for several years.  I don’t think they do it any more, probably because I was the one that always used to organize it.

One of our marketing people sent out invites for College Colors day today and happy hour at 3pm for the office.  I'll be out though... I always take the Friday off before a 3 day weekend if I can swing it.  And rightly so, I was up till after 1am watching Utah win another Holy War game against BYU. 🍻

 

And I wear a Mean Green polo to the office every Friday during college football season anyways.  And so should all of you...

i so wish i could have a beer at work...would make teaching so much easier!

that why we had North Texas on our helmets to climate that problem😎.   Rick told us we needed that.

      At one point, it was indicated that NIL would be limited to the actual amount someone’s “name, image or likeness” is really worth: which is not very much at all if it is not “pay for play”. Like, how much would you really pay for someone to retweet a local HVAC ad or show up to an elementary school to read to the kids: maybe a couple hundred bucks or a few thousand max? The players would get their revenue share from the school, but NIL would be capped at true market value. This is heading towards collective bargaining. Wish we could just skip ahead to that part and get a system in place with rules that could be played by and enforced.
