Transfer portal is killing P4 as well as G5
This is a half-truth, several backups, mostly 3rd and 4th stringers are opting out of the playoffs because of the portal. Starters and 2nd stringers outside of Penn State's 2nd string qb are sticking around for the playoffs. They're given an extra week to hit the portal but they can't move it back because they still have to follow the school's admissions window. -

Women vs. SMU (12/19/24)
Yes, we seem to start slow too often. Also seem to give up a lot of easy baskets inside the paint without much resistance. Need to get shooting and rim defense straightened out quickly to have a season comparable to last year.- 1

Women vs. SMU (12/19/24)
Went 1-11 from 3 in the first half. Couldn't hit anything and made a lot of bad fouls. Comeback was nice, but we have to quit falling behind early. -
