1. North Texas Mean Green

Members: Mason Fine-DeAndre Torrey-Rico Bussey

Mason Fine is the best quarterback in the state. DeAndre Torrey is the most productive returning running back in the state. Rico Bussey is a returning 1,000-yard receiver. Mix in some expert play calling from Seth Littrell and new offensive coordinator Bodie Reeder and you have the makings for potentially the top offense in the state.

The Fine-DeAndre Torrey-Rico Bussey is no surprise being No. 1 in the State of Texas.  Sadly, unless you read the Denton paper, or maybe the Dallas paper,  one would never know what we have in Denton.  I'm sure Dallas, maybe Ft Worth give our "triplets" some coverage, but the rest of the state, no so much.

Not one word about Mason Fine in the Austin paper.

Yesterday, while watching the "P5 Channel, ESPN", they went through the list of the "possible" Heisman candidates this year.  They ran down the list.  Not one single mention of Mason Fine.  You would at least have thought someone would have mentioned his numbers, efficiency, etc., and the fact that "he's small", and "comes from a "small school"(UNT), etc. but nada.  Nothing.

So sad.  Guess we'll just have "whip some ass" on the field and win a fricking bowl game!

O.K.  I'm done bitching.

Go Mean Green!

Good golly Miss Molly I don’t know what pleases me more:

1) UNT number one on that list

2) A&M not on the list at all, or

3) SMU is bested by Sam Houston State

anyway you look at, this list is most excellent
