A plea to our "football-only" fans
As someone who grew up in Denton, I can confirm that community outreach and athletic marketing was somewhere between pitiful to nonexistent till the 90s. For my perspective since the 90s it appears that they are content to play a conservative game of “catch-up” when it comes to long term growth. They bank on the sheer size of the UNT System and metro location to make UNT Athletic Programs upper middle tier G5. It is up to the AD and upper leadership to change that. -

Tx schools would help PAC with their central time zone problem. -

2025 Football Schedule
I believe last year the schedule was announced in late February? So hopefully just another month. Maybe with the same slate of teams for the first time in several years, they'll be able to announce sooner.
