How do we make SMU Green this fall

The greatest thing we could do to start the season would be to go 2-0 and beat the tar out of SMU on their poorly attended home turf.   The thing I would love to see is that entire stadium packed to the gills with Mean Green fans!   Is the AD doing anything to promote that game, busses, cheap tickets, free tickets......   a tail gate, pregame party at Dot's in Deep Ellum or something?

 

What can we do as the loyal fanhood to drive attendance?  I see this as a challenging game now that they are in year 2 of Dykes with Buchelle as their QB and our rebuilding defense.   We could use all of the support we can get and a sea of Green in Dallas would be awesome!

The Smut game is normally very well attended by the UNT faithful because it is so close to home and there are a lot of Dallas alumni who don"t normally attend home games, attend this particular game. From my last two experiences there, the away side has a heavy shad of green to it. 

Wren will start marketing this game heavily the closer we get to the game. The Cal travel package ends today so I bet they will get on it very soon.

As far as us doing our part, just start pushing this game to everyone you know that's a fan and try to get a large group together to go to the game. If everyone can drag a handful of people to go, we should have a strong turn out. I'm going and have about 10 folks that'll show up in GREEN

I think I’ve got 10 people committed to going who usually only make it to homecoming. In 2015 and 2017 we weren’t coming off that great of seasons either. With mason fine and back to back 9 win seasons I expect the largest unt crowd at Ford stadium thus far

So for tickets to this, when you buy from the AD there's no indication of where you'll be sitting vs. buying from the SMU ticket office. Anyone have that info? It looks like basically in the corner going by their seating map, but of course the exact seats aren't shown.
