For the first time in 2019, UTSA practice as a full team Tuesday, highlighted by the camp staple - the “Bird Cage Drill.” Head coach Frank Wilson was excited to get all 110 players together after a few days of split practices.

As for the quarterback position, the job is still wide open, but Wilson did single out Cordale Grundy by name for his solid play early in camp.

Another name to keep an eye on is Cal/Kansas State transfer Carlos Strickland. He’s logging a lot of reps and is healthy for the first time in a few seasons after suffering from a sports hernia that’s nagged him since high school.
