Pretty good read.

"Reeder doesn’t consider himself an Air Raid guy, which will bring some welcomed variety to the North Texas attack. The three- and four-wide sets will stay, but they’ll be complimented by sets with multiple tight ends and multiple running backs. The stuff UNT already did well won’t change — Reeder is adapting to the existing terminology — but Reeder’s new ideas will push the offense in new, creative directions."

I’m really excited for this hire. I liked Graham but felt like the offense was lacking in creativity,  the running game, and making adjustments. I think that Reeder will bring in a new scheme that will pile up the points

The air raid is not designed to be creative.  It is designed for your players to out execute the opponent.  I am cautiously optimistic about the Reeder hire.

I might have to go find a game with their original starting QB to see how Reeder called it differently. I am assuming a lot of the short passing and QB keepers was a result of having to play the backup most of the year. I wasn’t too impressed with the short yardage calls in this game.

I watched all but the end of the 4th quarter. I liked the running game and use of TEs. I didn’t love the short passing gameS

Sounds to me like some good ol’ Dickie ball with QB Scott Hall throwing the ball down the seam for big yardage...

To many on this board "Good ol' Dickie ball" translates to "Throw The Damn Ball".
