Fine is as good as advertised, will be one of the best 3 QBs we face this year and he has an experienced group of receivers to throw to. Their offense was super inconsistent last year, like struggling to score points against the dregs of CUSA like Rice, UTSA and UTEP. They also had to bring in a new OC because USC hired away Graham Harrell.

Also, they lose practically all their playmakers from a defense that was a pretty big part of keeping them in games last year. I can’t imagine them not regressing at least somewhat, which will probably mean week 5 in Denton is gonna be a shoot out. I can’t see them stopping King that often.

Mostly pretty fair comments. Except for the one that said the crowd was predominantly UH fans in 2011. That’s a bit ridiculous.

They did fill the visitor section with a little over flow. But no way was it even 60-30.

I remember being disappointed in the crowd vs. Houston, as Houston did not fill the seats that I had anticipated.

Yes. They brought a good contingent of fans to Apogee (read a couple thousand)  just like we do when we play down there at UH or Rice. This game should be an annual OOC matchup. It’s good for both programs.

Get alternating schedules. We play at rice and UH comes here. UH plays at UNT and SMU plays at UH. Then switch.

Fair assessments/comments here unlike a certain coog that roams our boards from time to time. Other than the deluded clown comments about attendance in 2011, they appeared to have a lot of respect for us. Should be a shootout
